What is a Doula?
A doula is a trained professional who provides emotional, physical, and informational support to families during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Unlike a medical provider, a doula does not perform clinical tasks — instead, she walks alongside you, helping you feel empowered, confident, and cared for throughout your journey.

Why Doulas Matter
Research shows that families who work with doulas often experience shorter labors, fewer interventions, and greater satisfaction with their birth experience. More importantly, having a doula means having someone by your side who listens to your goals, respects your choices, and reminds you of your strength when you need it most.
Meet the Doula
Aleah Christianson

Hi, I’m Aleah, a certified birth doula, wife, and homeschooling mom of four. My heart for birth work comes from my own journey of motherhood—each pregnancy and birth taught me that women need more than medical care; we need to feel supported, understood, and never alone. That is why I started Wonderfully Made Doula Services.
Along with my doula certification, I am continuing my education to become a Certified Breastfeeding Coach, Certified Postpartum Doula, Certified Perinatal Nutrition Educator, Certified Prenatal Yoga Instructor, and Certified Childbirth Educator. My goal is to walk with families through every season of welcoming a baby—from preparing your body and mind for labor, to supporting you in the birth room, and nurturing you in the sacred postpartum days that follow.
Faith and family are the foundation of my life, and I bring that same sense of compassion and encouragement to the families I serve. Whether you’re looking for comfort measures in labor, education to feel prepared, or just a calming presence by your side, I would be honored to be part of your story—reminding you every step of the way that you are wonderfully made.
